Instructions (you can download printable instructions with pictures HERE

Turn on / Turn offPress the Power (large) button 5 times within 2 seconds.
Voltage adjustTap the + or - buttons to raise or lower output voltage (in .1 volt increments).  The voltage level resets itself to 3 volts when the battery is removed
Power adjustTap the + or - buttons to raise or lower output wattage (in .5 watt increments).  The power level resets itself to 3 watts when the battery is removed
Resistance checkWith an atomizer or cartomizer installed on unit, press and hold the + button for 2 seconds. Atomizer resistance is displayed in ohms.
Battery voltage checkPress and hold the - button for 2 secs to check actual battery voltage.  The display will flash when the battery (or batteries) needs replacing/recharging (approx 3.4v for one cell, 6.8v for two cells)
Voltage / Power Mode
The VAMO can operate either in Voltage Mode or Power Mode.  We find that Power Mode is generally easier for users that switch between different cartomizers and atomizers at different resistances as the VAMO will adjust for that resistance and deliver consistent power to the device.

To set the mode, hold the + and the - buttons down simultaneously for about 2 seconds.  The display will either say 3.0 v (for voltage) or 3.0 w (for power).  If the setting that is displayed, is not the one you want, then hold the two buttons down again and the mode will be changed.  You can now use the + and - buttons to adjust the voltage or the power as described above.

The VAMO can determine output voltage and wattage as an Average or as RMS (Root Mean Square). RMS is the actual and true output and is the one to use.
Press and hold the + button for 10 secs. If  "no2" is shown then the output is already set to RMS, no further action is required. If no1 is shown, release the button and press again for 10 secs until the display shows no2. This setting should not change after a new battery is inserted but if the vape feels hotter than expected you should re-check this setting.

Take a licking and keep on ticking. Relatively cheap and work great. Why use anything else? I liked the older style display better easier to read.

Recently bought a vamo v4 which is a great device with one exception, the 510 top cap threads have trouble accepting VIVI Nova, Protank I/II, Aspire, etc. My Vamo only accepted a Fogger II and one of my Aspire Vivi Nova's. I had to order a 510/510 adapter get all of the tanks to work on the Vamo however, now looks funny/goofy/bad! I've now ordered an airflow adaptor to dress up my 510 connector fix.

I am quite happy that I should not need another kit for a long time and I have been cigarette free now for 7+ months, and should have no problems with this unit, as it is the highest quality I have ever seen.

Rating SS Vamo V2

I can't imagine any other mod doing what this one does for the price. This is my first mod and I'm wondering what took me so long to take the step up. I would recommend the Vamo V2 to anyone wanting an all-purpose mod with all the features and great build-quality, for a reasonable price.

Rating Excellent Value

This has been a great device at a wonderful price. I did my research before buying and have been pleased with the result. The shipping was fast and all parts were in excellent condition. If you looking for a rugged, adaptable, durable, and cheap electric cigarette mod, then this is the device to get. Couple it with a charger, spare batteries, and juice and you got yourself a nice bundle for around a hundred bucks.

I am very impressed with this unit, especially at this price point. It's well built and sturdy. The buttons are a bit clacky, but I knew that from watching video reviews prior to my purchase and it doesn't bother me as it's a minor thing. I purchased the stainless version since I heard that the chrome units are fingerprint magnets. The OLED readout is easy to see and a bit retro looking, which is kind of cool. The gripe I have with this part is that the Chinese QC folks apparently missed the fact the the display is mounted a bit "off' and isn't centered well. I can live with it as it's also a minor thing and doesn't affect the operation or performance of the Vamo. It reads the resistance of my tanks and clearos well and only occasionally reads .1 ohm too high, but that was pointed out in the videos as well. No biggie. The buttons work well and feel solid. Like others have pointed out, sometimes it takes more than 5 clicks to turn it on. Navigation between the settings is easy and learned quickly. This is a relatively heavy unit when the extension is screwed in and an 18650 or 2 18350 batts are installed. I use a single 18350 when traveling, but that really lowers how long it lasts between swapping batts by a wide margin as opposed to a single 18650. I prefer to use a 5ml SmokTech UDCT with it and it screws down so far that it is flush with the top and there is no venting left to draw a good vape. This is fixed by using an eGo thread cone screwed into the top to create a small vent. Works well and I'm able to get incredibly satisfying vapes with the Vamo. This is a very good value and an excellent MOD. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a very good quality, full featured APV at an exceptional price.

Rating Wonderful Device

Wonderful device, everything I put on this works better. Easy to get used to the controls. I wish my wife would let me get another !!! Love the resistance checking ability. The wattage mode takes the guesswork out of it. Awesome, would have had to spent twice as much for these features. Topped this off with a aga t2 and wow, now I know What my juice is supposed to taste like. Get one while they last.

This is one of the best mods for the money. I got mine in SS. My +/- buttons are slightly different,it takes 6(not five) to sometimes turn it on. Otherwise, this mod works like a champ. You get VW & RMS. The display is easy to read even in bright sunlight, the menu system is easy to operate. I use the mod with tanks, carto's, clearomizers, and drip attys. There is nice deep well to catch those excess juices. Definitely make sure you use this with 18650's, I wouldn't bother stacking 18350's. I only the 18350's when on the go for a short period of time and I want something a little smaller to tote around. At my vape rate an 18650 lasts about a 1 1/2 days. I give this 5 stars, but take 1/2 star away for the minor flaws. Buy it!

A little gift to myself for my 2 month anniversary. Very pleased w/ the finish & hand feel, glad I picked it up before the V3 was introduced. Nice bright display and tactile button feel, only gripe is the fact it's not "compatable" w/ the T3 w/o an adapter Next time they're in stock, pick one up you won't regret it ;)
